Gary Lee Rose

In Loving Memory of Gary Lee Rose

Sept.1, 1949- July 22,2025 at age of 75. 

Gary was born in Cook County Illinois, to Russell John Rose and Mildred Lee Rose. He was a police officer for 25 years and retired from the Winston Salem Police Department. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of the Masonic Lodge 167.  An avid bass fisherman and deer hunter. Judy and Gary were married 55 years.

 Gary was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Bonnie Lee Rose, and a twin brother, Larry Jay Rose.

Surviving are daughters Amy Rose and Sherry Rose, a grandson, Tyson Allen, a sister, Lynn Rose (Mike Haynes) and a sister-in-law Betsy Jones Rose.

A gathering will be held at a later time of family and friends.

The family is thankful to the staff at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.
