Gaynell Marie Thompson Englebert

Mrs. Gaynell Marie Thompson Englebert, 75, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born February 3, 1948, in McDowell County, WV to the late Luther Thompson and Lee Helen Halloway Thompson. Gaynell was a faithful member at Woodland Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling especially to Cherokee. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Clayton Englebert; sister, Miranda Long; and two brothers, Eugene Thompson and Roger Thompson. She is survived by her brother, Richard Thompson (Sharon); special friend, Rodney Harris; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 AM, Monday, July 10, 2023, at Crestview Memorial Park with Pastor Tim Gammons officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woodland Baptist Church Building Fund.
