Gearldine Oxendine

Gearldine Oxendine, was born on July 25th, 1948 in Lumberton, North Carolina to Mary and Marvin Oxendine. Gearldine passed away peacefully on January 25, 2026.

Gearldine was a proud Native American woman who loved her family and God. Her presence brought comfort, her words brought peace, and her memory will forever live on.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Gloria Oxendine and Elwanda Oxendine; her brothers, Vance, Ben, Jimmy, CB and Jessie Oxendine; four grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren, along with other cherished family members and friends who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Oxendine and Marvin Oxendine; her beloved daughter, Flora; her grandson, Casey; and her brothers, Clint Oxendine and Willie Oxendine.

Gearldine will be remembered for her strength, her kindness, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Bible Revival Ministries Center. Officiating the service is Pastor Mike Burgess. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
