Geneva L. Wilson

Mrs. Geneva L. Wilson, 96, passed into the more immediate presence of the Lord on Friday, November 18, 2016.

She was born to William Charles Gregory and Lorah Smith Gregory on July 6, 1920 in Kuttawa, KY. She was the youngest of 8 siblings, none of whom survive her. In her youth Ginny was nurtured in the Kuttawa Methodist Church in Kuttawa, KY. She was a past member of Fairview Moravian Church in Winston-Salem and enjoyed her time there.

She is survived by her stepson, Rev. Robert (Bob) M. Peek, Sr. Bob remembers the love she shared in his life when he was a young man. Bob and his wife Earlette want to thank the staff at Salemtowne, Salem Terrace Assisted Living, and The Tad Williams Senior Service Center of Winston-Salem for their care and love during her last years.

A graveside service and interment will be held Monday, November 21, 2016 at 2 pm at Old Salem Moravian Graveyard with Rev. Scott Venable officiating.
