Genevieve Lynch

Mrs. Genevieve "Jenny" White Lynch, 91, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at her residence. Jenny was born in Davie County on November 7, 1926, to the late W.C. and Edna White. She was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church and retired from the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System with 24 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Thomas. She is survived by her husband of 73 years, James T. "Jim" Lynch; one daughter, Patti Ann Lynch and husband, Scott Lewis; nephews, nieces, and grand-nephews and grand-nieces. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Senior Services of Winston-Salem, 2895 Shorefair Dr., Winston-Salem, NC 27105, Hospice and Palliative Care of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or to a charity of the donor's choice. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family of Mrs. Lynch.
