George Peter Aslanis

George Peter Aslanis, 68, of Winston-Salem, N.C. died peacefully from ALS complications on May 11, 2025, at Beacon Place in Greensboro, N.C.

Mr. Aslanis was born on March 6, 1957, in Miami, Florida.

His parents, Pete George Aslanis (Panagioti or Pete) of Piraeus, Greece, and Pearlie Leigh Caudle Aslanis (Sophia) of Yadkin County, and his grandmother, (Yiayia), Maria Katsafadou Aslanis of Hydra Island, Greece, preceded him in death.

He is survived by his oldest sibling, his sister, Margaret Maria Aslanis Nystrom, M.A.T. of Clemmons, N.C., and his nephew, Charles Peter Nystrom (Pete) along with his wife, Cayla Dawn Collins Nystrom, of High Point, and his niece, Tina Maria Nystrom of Clemmons, and his youngest sibling, his devoted brother, Pete Aslanis, Jr. (Junior), and his wife Pamela Aslanis (Pam) of Clemmons, N.C.

George was the founder and owner of Omni Software Systems, Inc, a former software development sales and application company.

No services will be held.
