George Jones

Mr. George Howard Jones, 75, passed away Friday, March 12, 2021, at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.  He was born September 30, 1945, in Blue Island, Illinois to the late Casey and Amelia Jones.  George loved playing golf, watching sports, politics, landscaping and yardwork.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara.  He is survived by his loving wife, Christie Day Jones; son, Casey Jones; sister, Linda Wendt; two nieces; and two nephews.  To honor George’s wishes, there will be no formal services.
