Gerald Jacob Willard

KERNERSVILLE - Gerald Jacob Willard, 76, died Monday, March 16, 2015 at his home. Gerald was born on February 17, 1939 in Forsyth County to Garland and Cassie Manning Willard. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Glenn View Baptist Church. Gerald was a retired farmer.

In addition to his parents, Gerald was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Bill Craver.

Surviving are his wife, Josephine ‘Jo' Wood Willard, of the home; a son, Todd Willard; 3 grandsons, Corey Willard (fiance', Haley), Austin and Andrew Willard; and a sister, Janice Craver.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2015 at Glenn View Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel.
