Geraldine Cline Brinegar

Mrs. Geraldine Cline Brinegar, 86, died on Monday, July 17, 2017, at Brighton Gardens of Winston-Salem. Geraldine was born in Forsyth County on March 24, 1931, to Raymond Arthur and Irene Phillips Cline. Geraldine adored her grandchildren and enjoyed genealogy, trips to the beach, crafts, and cross-stitching. She was a member of Hopewell Moravian church, where she taught Sunday school. After many years of loyal service, she retired from Sears. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert Brinegar, Jr.; one infant son, Paul Brinegar; one granddaughter, Jennifer Brinegar; one brother, Raymond Cline, Jr.; and one sister, Phyllis Aulozzi. Surviving are two sons, Keith Brinegar and Kevin Brinegar; one daughter, Tammy Lamm; four grandchildren, Suzanne Randall, Matt Brinegar, Alex Brinegar, and Megan Belk; four great-grandchildren, Alexis Chidester, Logan Brinegar, Joshua McDowell, and Lauren McDowell; one sister, Larue Arton; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at Hopewell Moravian Church with Rev. Walter Bishop officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
