Mrs. Glenda Faye Dalton Brown, 74, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Surry Co. on February 10, 1948, the daughter of the late James Dalton and Hazel Puckett Dalton. Glenda was a member of Poplar Springs Christian Church. She graduated from North Forsyth High School and Baptist Hospital School of Nursing. Glenda retired as a Registered Nurse at Medical Park Hospital in Winston-Salem. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Stacie Brown Heller; a sister, Pam Dalton; and three brothers, Jimmy, Steve and Jerry. Glenda is survived by a granddaughter, Ashlyn Heller; a son-in-law, Rick Heller; sister-in-law, Brenda Shore Dalton; nephew, David Dalton; sister-in-law, Brenda Watson Daulton; niece, Jayme Daulton; sister-in-law, Judy Daulton; nephew, Brent Daulton; three great-nephews; and two great-nieces. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Chapel in Rural Hall with Ralph Sproles, Minister officiating. Private Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
