Miss Glenda Aileen Grant, 77, of Clemmons, passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 at Bermuda Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born June 21, 1933 in Pascagoula, MS to Irma and Harold Lafayette Grant. Miss Grant was a member of Clemmons Moravian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Kay Baskin (Tom) of Clemmons and Madonna Cutrer (David) of Hammond, LA; three grandchildren, Joshua and Carlie Cutrer and Marisa Baskin; one sister, Hazel Lennep (Elwood) of Moss Point, Miss. and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Clemmons Moravian Church Graveyard with Rev. Ray Burke officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Liberty Hospice, 1007 Lexington Ave., Thomasville, NC 27360 or to Clemmons Moravian Church New Building Fund, P.O. Box 730, Clemmons, NC 27012.
