Glenda Sears

Ms. Glenda Snipes Sears, 71, passed away on December 8, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Howard and Farine Snipes.

Glenda, originally from Kernersville, graduated from East Forsyth High School. She then became an assistant at McClain Trucking company and worked there for many years.  Later on, she pursued higher education and graduated from High Point University and became a CPA.   She retired from the City of Winston-Salem and worked for H & R Block for over 30 years.

She had many friends who would say that her laughter was contagious, and she had the ability to make a good time out of doing anything.  She loved traveling, spending time with friends and being with her grandchildren.

Glenda is survived by her loving daughter, Nikki Lacy and her husband Chad; grandchildren, Addison and Cade Lacy; cousin, Brenda Cline and many more loving friends.  A celebration of Glenda’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, 3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston- Salem, NC 27103.
