Dr. Glenda Hartness Weber, 79, of Clemmons passed away Sunday July 22, 2018 at her home. She was born July 22, 1939 in Newton to Henry Clay and Rosa Curlee Howard Hartness. Dr. Weber graduated from Statesville High School in 1958, Wake Forest University in 1962 and Bowman Gray School of Medicine in 1966. She married Wayne Ellison Weber on September 6, 1964 in First Baptist Church in Statesville. Dr. Weber practiced medicine as a Pathologist throughout North Carolina, mainly dedicating herself to Forsyth Medical Center and Medical Park Hospital. She retired from practice in 1999. She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Fannie Hartness Kivett; brothers, Henry Howard Hartness and Dr. Albert Ray Hartness and a nephew, Wilkes Kivett Jr. Surviving is her husband, Dr. Wayne Weber; nieces and nephews, Peggy Kivett Godley, Kelly Hartness Coker, Bronya Hartness Clark, Laura Hartness Benzing, David Raymond Hartness, Henry Clay Hartness, Jennie Hartness Hess, Missy Hartness Sparrow, Katie Hartness Maness, Mandy Hartness Murdock, Marshall Aubrey Hartness along with 26 great and 8 great great nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forsyth Humane Society. Online condolences may be made to www.hayworth-miller.com.
