Gloria Cain Hensley

Mrs. Gloria Cain Hensley, 87, of Winston-Salem, passed away on September 28, 2016 at Duke Medical Center. Gloria was born on December 21, 1928 in Onondago, NY to Frank Edward and Vina Ruley Cain. She was a member of Griffith Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Wallace Sidney Hensley. Gloria is survived by her three daughters, Linda H. Hege (Stokes) of Welcome, Ruby H. Myers (Jack) of Winston-Salem, Carol H. Landreth (Keith) of Raleigh; four sons, Donald Ray Hensley (Sherry) of Winston-Salem, Donald Ray Lemons of Winston-Salem, Tim Lemons (Lisa) of Thomasville and Everette Lemons of California; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Griffith Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Vaughan officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 3, 2016 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. Memorials may be made in Gloria's memory to Hospice and Palliative Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
