Gloria Stack Smith

        Mrs. Gloria Stack Smith, 78, of Advance, NC passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 21, 1947 in Forsyth County to Pervie Allen Stack, Jr. and Dorothy Whitlow Stack. Gloria was a faithful member of Green Meadows Baptist Church and retired from Universal Insurance Company. She was preceded in death by her beloved dog, Max. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Richard Smith; two daughters, Regina Smith Ashby and Lori Smith Reid (Steve); two grandchildren, Graeson Reid and Katie Reid and four siblings, Steve Stack (Judy), John Stack (Suzanne), Allen Stack and Paul Stack (Lisa). 
        The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Green Meadows Baptist Church with a funeral service following at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Michael Postell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
