Gordon Lee Brown

Mr. Gordon Lee Brown, 73, of Pfafftown died Tuesday, January 20, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born April 3, 1942 in Gadsden, AL, the son of the late Ernest and Artis Vineyard Brown. He was of the Baptist faith and was retired from Rexam Container Company following 35 years of service. Gordon dedicated his life to providing for his family. The light of his life were his grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Brown Wood and his brother, Buford Brown. Survivors include his wife, Vickey Parker Brown of the home; one son, David Brown and wife, Beth Anne of Pfafftown; six grandchildren, Ashleigh Ragsdale, Dalton Brown and wife, Amanda, Jordon Wood, Collin Wood, Devin Brown and Danielle Brown; two great grandchildren, Alison Brown and Brenton Ragsdale; two sisters, Nellie Brady and husband, John of King and Wanda Tarvin of AL; one brother, Charles Brown of AL; one son-in-law, Greg Wood of Winston-Salem and a number of nieces and nephews.
