Grace Ladell Cross Woodworth

WOODWORTH - WINSTON-SALEM Grace Ladell Cross Woodworth, 88, died on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Forest Heights Senior Living Community. She was born in Altus, Oklahoma on November 19, 1923 to the late J.T. Cross and Janie Bell Cross. Mrs. Woodworth was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Woodworth was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles H. Woodworth, III. She is survived by her daughter, Carole Shelton Deaton and her husband, Carter of Winston-Salem, NC; her son, Bill Shelton and his wife, Gretchen Letterman of St. Petersburg, FL; step-son, Ted Woodworth and his wife, LaJean of Imperial, MO; and stepdaughter, Susan Blueher and her husband, Kerry of Oklahoma City. She was Grandma Dell to eight grandchildren: Claudia Deaton, Jennifer Deaton Bouldin, Annagrace Letterman Shelton, Liam Letterman Shelton, Rick Woodworth, Deborah Lawrence, Bradley Mardis and Brett Mardis; and two great-grandchildren, Madison Bouldin and Carter Bouldin. Mrs. Woodworth is also survived by two sisters, Doris Collins of Roswell, NM and Theola Leenhouts of Oklahoma City.
