Grady Odell Browder

Mr. Grady Odell Browder, 76, went to be with his Lord while surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, January 23, 2014. Grady was born on March 15, 1937 in Stokes County to Jesse Haymore Browder and Eunice Spainhour Browder. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters. Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Dorothy Sealey Browder; his daughters, Debra (Tom) Cooper, Jane (Lee Carter) Myers and Cheryl (Todd) McBride; five grandchildren, Jones (Carla) Myers, Tiffany (James) Caudle, Alanna (Cjay) Jacome, Mikayla McBride and Mariah (Spooky) McBride; ten great grandchildren; one brother, Bill (Janette) Browder; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was a member of Goldfloss Baptist Chapel for 50 years and retired from B&G Pie Company after 55 years of dedicated service. Grady loved spending time with his family and he served his Lord many years with his singing ministry. The funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Johnny Sealey officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. His family would like to say a special thanks to the staff of Hospice for their loving care, especially Lainey.
