Grayson Howard Baxter

Grayson Howard Baxter passed away on April 10, 2026. He was born in Baltimore, Maryland on May 15, 1945. After serving in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, Grayson came to know Jesus as his Savior while watching Billly Graham on television. He later graduated from Piedmont Bible College, served one year on the mission field in England, and went on to work for the United States Postal Service as a letter carrier. 
Grayson was a man of deep faith who loved the Lord and faithfully shared the gospel with everyone he met. His life verse was Phil. 3:10 (KJV) "That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death." He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Grayson was preceded in death by his parents, William and Bonnie Baxter; his stepmother, Clara Baxter; his brother, Joe Baxter and his twin brother, Jim Baxter. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kitty Baxter, his sons, Andrew (wife, Alicia), and Stephen, and his cherished grandchildren, Hannah and Griffin. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Hook, and his brother, Bill Baxter (wife, Joy); and sister-in-law, Sandy Baxter; along with several nieces and nephews.
A private family memorial will be held.
