Gregory Win Nifong

Gregory Win Nifong was born January 23, 1966. He passed away on December 22, 2013. He is survived by his parents, George and Lynn Eddinger Nifong; a sister, Angie Jenkins(Sam); a brother, Grant Nifong; his nephews, Dakota and Paton Jenkins, Laramie and Elliott Nifong; his nieces, Carson Jenkins and Lexie Nifong; an Uncle, Van Eddinger(Deanna) of Oak Island, NC as well as his daughters; his cousin, Dimey Eddinger(Kristina) as well as his daughters; his extended family including many great aunts, uncles, and cousins; his girlfriend of 14 years, Peggy Revis, and her daughter Taylor, and the rest of her extended family. He was preceded in death by a brother, Chad Nifong; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Edythe Eddinger; his paternal grandparents, Floyd and Maude Nifong; his uncle, Mickey Eddinger; and his nephew, Dalton Jenkins. Greg graduated from Parkland High School in 1984 and received a degree in electronics from Davidson County Community College. He was a classic car enthusiast and spent much of his time working to restore his prized Camaros. He was diagnosed with cancer less than two months before his death and spent his final weeks in his home. There will be a celebration of life at Griffith Baptist Church (1987 Old Salisbury Rd, Winston-Salem) on Friday, December 27 at 7 P.M. with visitation following in the fellowship hall.
