Gregory Jon Wells

KERNERSVILLE- Gregory Jon Wells, 63, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Greg was born on August 11, 1962 in Hendricks County, IN to Marvin and Glenda Brameier Wells. He retired from the US Navy with over 30 years of service as a Military Officer and Cryptologist. After retirement, he continued work with the US Navy and FBI. Greg and his wife, Susan, are members of Project Re3 Church in Kernersville.

Greg was a family man, spending as much time as he could with his family. He was an avid bowler in his past and enjoyed camping, being a frequent camper in Fries, Virginia and Emerald Isle, NC. He loved animals, especially his dogs and horses.

Greg was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Wells.

Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Susan Wells; stepdaughter, Kimberly Bennett (Danny) of Kernersville; stepson, Irvin Smith (Pam) of Clayton; a daughter, Raine Wells (Nat); his mother Glenda Wells; two sisters, Gwen Prindle and Teresa Ridgeway; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, December 14, 2025 at Project Re3 Church (1474 Kerner Rd, Kernersville), during their regular worship service. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
