Guelda Hall

Guelda Alliene Lawson Hall, 93, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice House in Winston-Salem. Guelda was born and raised in Stokes County on July 6, 1929 to the late Fount and Mabel Lawson. She was employed with Hanes Hosiery for 40 years. Guelda was a member of Bethany Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and was a Sunday School teacher. Guelda loved to travel, but most of all she loved her family and took great pride in caring for them. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hall, Sr.; daughter, Ginger Heath; and siblings, Bud Lawson, Marie Pulliam, Kay Brown and Lorene Clark. Surviving family includes her son, Charles Hall, Jr.; grandson, Jason Heath (Kelly); and great-grandchildren, Hannah Heath and Baleigh Layell. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Bethany Baptist Church, with Dr. Brad Stamey officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will immediately follow the service at Crestview Memorial Park.
