Gypsia Hayes

Mrs. Gypsia Miller Hayes, 76, of Advance, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 6, 1944 in Newport News, VA to Maxine Troy Harvey and Harry Louis Miller. She was a member of Yadkin Valley Baptist Church and retired from American General Life Insurance Company. Mrs. Hayes was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Hayes. Surviving are her children, Sherri Fine, Timothy Roberson (Rachel) and Rachel Morse (Jerry); five grandchildren, Richard Roberson (Carly), Priscilla Sizemore, Jonathan Morse (Cherie), Jacob Morse and Joshua Morse; one great granddaughter, Saylor Roberson; one sister, Susan Lane and one brother, David Villiard. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Ronnie Craddock officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
