Harold Dean Lewis

Mr. Harold Dean Lewis, 82, died on Monday, May 15, 2017, at his residence. Harold was born in Forsyth County, NC, on April 3, 1935, to Hoy Herbert and Eunice Fletcher Lewis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Ann Maurer Lewis. Surviving are five children, Jerry Lewis (Toni) of Winston-Salem, Garry Lewis of Pinnacle, Patricia Humphries (Ben) of Clemmons, Todd Lewis (Lorie) of Walkertown, and Darrell Lewis (Dawn) of Winston-Salem; 13 grandchildren, and 36 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Bobby Lewis (Brenda) of Winston-Salem and Ronnie Lewis of High Point; and one sister, Thelma Minor of Clemmons. A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Stephen Gilreath and Brother Donnie Holt officiating. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller.com.
