Harold Bennett Shelton

Mr. Harold Bennett Shelton passed away Friday morning October 28, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Virginia on July 24, 1931 to the late Abe Shelton and Annie Worley Shelton. Harold enjoyed hunting, and fishing. He eventually started buying and selling cars, after he retired from Roadway Express with 40 years of service. Harold served his country in the United States Army for 12 years. He was preceded in death by his first wife Bobbe Shelton and his second wife Muriel Shelton. Harold is survived by two daughters Leslie King and husband Thomas and Lisa Simoneau; two grandchildren Lindsay King and Zach Simoneau; and his special friend and pet dog ""Baby"". A celebration of Harold's life will be held at 3:30 PM on Thursday November 3, 2016 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Reverend Bill Hoyle officiating.
