Harold Tilley

Mr. Harold Wayne Tilley, 75, of Winston-Salem passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Mr. Tilley was born on July 13, 1943 in Forsyth County to Floyd and Bert Cox Tilley. Mr. Tilley retired from Piedmont/US Airways and was currently employed at North State Aviation. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, three sisters. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Sylvia Taylor Tilley of the home; two sons, Steven Tilley and wife Mollie of Advance, Austin Tilley; two grandchildren, Corey and Elizabeth Tilley; one brother, Floyd Tilley, Jr., two sisters-in-law, Marie Tilley and Betty Tilley; loving puppy, Susie; numerous nieces and nephews. Per Harold’s request there will be no services. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the gentle care given to Harold. A special thanks to David Coe, Harold’s best friend that he considered a brother, for his endless concern and love. The family would also like to thank Cindy Moorefield and husband Darrell.
