Harry Grubbs

Mr. Harry Gayle Grubbs, age 80, passed away December 9, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center.  He was born July 10, 1938 in Forsyth County to Oscar Lee and Ethel Finney Grubbs.  Harry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, David Banta.  He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Allred Grubbs; daughter, Nita Banta; sons, Evan Hunter (Julie) and Eric Hunter (Liz); grandchildren, Meredith Miles (Josh), Abby Sordyl (Eric), Ryan, Ethan, Cole, Charlotte, Megan, and Sarah Hunter; great-grandchildren, Logan, Dillon, and Jackson Miles; one brother, Billy Grubbs, and nephews, Eric and Aaron Grubbs. Harry was an active member of Kingswood United Methodist Church.  Harry and Barbara owned and operated B&H Insurance Services Inc. until his retirement.  His life long career in the trucking industry included being Secretary/Treasurer and a member of the board of directors at Thurston Motor Lines and Thurston Inc., Charlotte NC.  A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, December 14, 2018 at Kingswood United Methodist Church with Rev. Jeff Sypole and Rev.
