Harry Carl Riddle

Mr. Harry Carl Riddle, 67 of Winston-Salem died Sunday, February 23, 2014 at his home. He was born August 17, 1946 in Pennsylvania, the son of the late, James Carl and Delma Lambert Riddle. Mr. Riddle was employed by Flowers Bakery, formerly Royal Cake Company of Winston-Salem with over 35 years of service. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Gail Riddle of the home; three daughters, Sherry Parks and husband, Scott of Walkertown and Wendy Sutphin and husband, Allen, and Tracy Miller of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, James Dean Riddle, Karrie Riddle and Willow Allen; two great grandchildren, Isaiah Williams and Isaac Reeves; one sister, Vera Gabbard and husband, Sam of Kentucky; and his devoted friend and companion, Nellie. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 pm at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Rev. Chris Byrne officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or New Friendship Church, 4258 Old Lexington Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
