Hassell Arnold Montgomery

Mr. Hassell Arnold Montgomery, better known as ""Mr. Mouse"", 85, passed away December 20, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Patrick County, VA to Emily Light and Joseph Samuel Montgomery. Mr. Montgomery was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Montgomery; parents; daughter-in-law, Tammy H. Montgomery; son-in-law, W.C. Flinchum, Jr.; two sisters, Myrtle G. Patterson, Evelyn Clement. He is survived by four daughters, Fonda Gail (Pete) Cecile, Kathy Flinchum, Jan Culler, and Laura (Jimmy) Whitman; one son, Claude Daniel (Vickie) Montgomery, Sr.; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; best friend and traveling companion, Norman Moore. A funeral service will be conducted 12:00 Noon, December 22, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel with Pastor Cliff L. Willis officiating. The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Midkiff Cemetery in Mt. Airy.
