Hau Cong Tran

Hau Cong Tran, 87, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024 in Winston-Salem, NC. Hau was born on October 12, 1936, in Chau Doc, Vietnam to Duong Tran and Xuyen Le. During the Vietnam War, he was a Major in the police force, actively working with the United States military against the Vietnamese communists. He moved to the United States in 1988. Hau was employed by Hanes Mill Hosiery for over fifteen years. Hau enjoyed good food and dressing well. He was lively, kind, and generous. He loved his family. Hau is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Thanh Duong; his children Thuy Phan, Hien Tran (Xuan Trang), and Thuy Tran; and his grandchildren, Ngoc Nguyen, Dung Nguyen, Tran Cong Tien, Yen-Nhi Tran, Vu Phan, Thao Phan, and Yen Mai Phan. A private ceremony will be held by the family.
