Helen 'Johnsie' Liles Emmons

EMMONS - SILOAM Mrs. Helen ""Johnsie"" Liles Emmons January 18, 1940 - August 5, 2013 On Monday, August 5, 2013 our wife, mother and grandmother went to be with her Savior and Lord. She was welcomed by a host of loved ones gone before and most of all, the one she longed to see first, Christ, himself. She was a faithful member of Woodland Baptist Church for over 50 years. Mrs. Emmons was preceded in death by her late husband, Billy Liles; parents, Brady and Wilma Jones; sisters, Mary Curtis and Mabel Shelton; brother, Pete Jones; and granddaughter, Brandy Renee; Liles. She leaves behind her husband of 8 months, Jim Emmons; four children: Renee; Hall (Greg), Randy Liles (Kathy), Billy Ray Liles (Tommye Ann) and Crystal Roope (David); eleven grandchildren: Ryan Hall (Carla), Stacey East, Austin Hall, Steven Liles (Kim), Pamela Liles, Brantley Liles, Brody Liles, Blake Liles, Madison Roope, Gracie Roope and Camden Roope; five great-grandchildren: Landon Hall, Mady Hall, Weston Hall, Raiden Liles, Payton East and Gavin East; two brothers, Brady Jones (Helen), Joe Jones (Jane); two sisters, Sophia Marie ""Trixie"" Jones and Carolyn Game; and a host of nieces and nephews who loved ""Aunt Johnsie."" A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Woodland Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Gammons officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church. The family and friends are also welcome at the home of Renee; and Greg Hall in King, NC.
