Helen Hill Hunter

Mrs. Helen Hill Hunter, 88, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at The Oaks at Forsyth. She was born July 4, 1925 in Forsyth County to Sam Orien Hill, Sr. and Stella McInturff Hill. Mrs.Hunter was retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company and later worked for Chick-Fil-A. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Lakey Hunter. Surviving are two sons, Steven Hunter and wife, Becky and Michael Hunter and wife, Gay; 4 grandchildren, Sam (Heather), Mary (Steve), Ryan and Hailey; 3 great grandchildren, Ty, Katie and Jamison; a sister, Mary Lou Boose; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday at Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
