Helen Hester McBride

Kernersville- Helen Hester McBride, 89, died Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Piney Grove Nursing & Rehab. Helen was born July 11, 1927 in Forsyth County to Henry Ery and Ethel Motsinger Hester. She loved crafts, especially knitting, ceramics, painting, needlework and sewing. There wasn't anything that she could not do!

Helen was the last of 12 brothers and sisters - 8 boys and 4 girls. She was the baby girl!

Surviving are her husband of 65 years, James McBride; and many special nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Friday, November 25, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev Drew Southern and Rev. Denny Hester officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point, and to the staff at Piney Grove Nursing & Rehab Center in Kernersville.
