Helen Stewart

Kernersville - Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Blackwell Stewart, 84, Fell asleep in the arms of Jesus, September 30, 2018 at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born June 7, 1934 to the late Cleo Blackwell and Kate Freeman Blackwell. Helen was a very loving hospitable, generous, and feisty lady. She would always say “Dynamite comes in small packages”. She loved her Lord, her family, Elvis and Bingo deepley. Helen and her husband, Bob loved to be out and about at all the local restaurants in town. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband; Bob Stewart, daughter, Melissa Duggins, sister; Betty Sue Thomason, and her brother; Charles Blackwell.

Surviving are, her daughter; Cindy (Jeff) DiNicolas, two grandsons; Ian Pinnix and Corbin DiNicolas, and a sister; Barbara Pearson.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the Stewart family.  Online condolences may be made to www.hayworth-miller.com.
