Henry Pegg

Pfafftown - Mr. Henry Curtis "Pappaw" Pegg, 66, passed away August 14, 2018 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born May 21, 1952 in Guilford County to the late Mildred Elizabeth Bolen Pegg, and Charles Leo Pegg. Curt loved all sports, his favorite being baseball. He was a little league baseball coach for many years. Curt was in the steele business for many years, before retiring from Lyndon Steele Company after 15+ years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, "Chuck" Pegg.

Surviving are; his loving wife of 47 years Betty Eanes Pegg, one daughter; Misty Hatchell (Johnny), one son; Randy Pegg, seven grandchildren; Stephanie, Kayla, Taylor, Houston, Bailey, Taegen, and Jason, four great-grandchildren; Skyler, Mckenna, Michael, Paige, and Elliott, two sisters, and three brothers.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, August 17, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Daniel Hawtree officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM - 1:45 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory in Kernersville.
