Henry Edward Pegram

Mr. Henry ""Buddy"" Edward Pegram, 82, went to be with the Lord December 5, 2016. He was born April 24, 1934 in Forsyth County to the late Francis Hardy Pegram and Minnie Hill Pegram. Henry loved his country and joined the United States Navy in 1952. After his time in the Navy, he became a loving family man. Henry was a loving person known as ""Buddy"" who knew no stranger. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Audrey Jean Pegram of 53 years; one brother, Robert Pegram. Surviving are two sons, Brian Keith Pegram (Becky), Michael Edward Pegram (Holly); 7 grandchildren, Samuel Pegram (Amanda), Barry Pegram, Julia Pegram Wilson (Taylor), Jessica Pegram Nagel, Monica LeighAnn Pegram, Morgan James Plott, Hailey Lynn Plott: three great-grandsons, Trenton Pegram, Gabriel Pegram, Brody Wilson; one sister, Rachel Roberts. A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Capella Church of Christ with Wayne Robertson, Minister and Ralph Sproles, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm at the church.
