Herman "Mac" McDuffie

Winston Salem - Herman Daniel McDuffie (Mac), Sr. 82, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017. He was born April 1, 1934 to the late George Henry and Viola Maye Riddle McDuffie. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Herman enjoyed refurbishing old furniture and working in the yard, never far away from his wife.
Surviving are his loving wife, Norma (married 62 years) and three children - Danny (Susan), Donald (Paula) and Kathryn (Chris); six grandchildren - Michelle (Michael) Mathys, Codie (Ryan) Brown, Patrick and Brian McDuffie, CJ and Cory Calloway; four great grandchildren - Caleb Mathys, Zoey and Milo Brown, Brian McDuffie. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Larry Kirby officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. and Mrs. Mac would like to thank the doctors and especially the nursing staff on 11 Ardmore during his stay at Baptist Hospital.
