Herman "Sleepy" Myers

Mr. Herman ""Sleepy"" Abington Myers, 86, of Advance passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born December 11, 1930 in Davie County to George Z. and Fallie Phelps Myers. Mr. Myers retired from Frank L. Blum with over 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Nelson Myers. Surviving is a daughter, Diane Myers Craven (Mike) of High Point; two sons, Ken Myers (Kay) of Advance and Jerry Myers (Brenda) of Winston-Salem. Four grandchildren, Zack Beall (Jamie), Alexandra Myers, Grant Myers, and Payne Craven and a great granddaughter, Bailey Beall. A graveside service will be held 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor Travis Moses officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel.
