Herman Sheets

Mr. Herman Lee Sheets passed away Wednesday afternoon, August 16, 2017 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County on December 8, 1921 to the late Charlie Lee Sheets and Luna Craft Sheets. Herman served in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a long-time member at Salem Baptist Church. Herman was a preceded in death by his wife Marie Gauldin Sheets; two brothers Clarence and Harold Sheets; a sister Willena Hutchins; and a grandchild Charles Justin Sheets. He is survived by a daughter Marilyn Ross; three sons Charles Sheets and wife Cindy, Vernon Sheets and wife Patti; and Mark Sheets and wife Laura; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two brothers Bobby Sheets, and Howard Sheets and wife Sandra; a sister Betty Jean Johnson; and many nieces, and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 18, 2017 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel in Clemmons, NC.
