Hilda Hege Hauser

Mrs. Hilda Hege Hauser, 92, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Regency Care of Clemmons. She was born October 21, 1924 in Forsyth County to the late Samuel B. and Grace Brewer Hege. Mrs. Hauser retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and later worked for several local department stores. She loved shopping, traveling, quilting, and sewing. Mrs. Hauser was a member of Warners Chapel Church of Christ. Preceding her in death was her husband, James Fred Hauser and two sisters, Gladys Livengood and Nell McBride. Surviving is a daughter, Kay Hauser of Winston-Salem; son, Darrell Hauser (Robin) of Winston-Salem; two special granddaughters whom she loved dearly, Holly and Carly Hauser; also surviving are many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Warners Chapel Church of Christ with Mr. Todd Hinson and Mr. D. C. Mock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Warners Chapel Church of Christ, 8999 Lasater Road, Clemmons, NC 27012.
