Hilda McKinney McDuffie

Hilda McKinney McDuffie, 75, of Clemmons, passed away Monday, November 25, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born January 28, 1938 in Harnett County to Thomas M. and Mary Wheeler McKinney. Ms. McDuffie was a member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church. She retired from GMAC with many years of service. She loved working in her flowers and garden, but most of all, spending time with her family. She served on the resident counsel committee at Clemmons Village II. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas. Surviving are three daughters, Diane Boggs and husband Mike of Lewisville, Delores West and husband Gary of Winston-Salem, and Donna Johnson and husband Roger of East Bend; one son, David McDuffie of Kernersville; ten grandchildren, Justin and Evan Boggs, Jamie and Jessica West, Gavin, Estella and Anaston McDuffie, Blake, Chase and Brock Johnson; two great grandchildren, Skyler West and Ashlyn Johnson; two brothers, Larry McKinney of Spring Lake and Johnny McKinney and wife Jeannie of Rocky Mount; and one sister, Bonnie Gregory and husband Gene of Lillington. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 29 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Crestview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. The family would like to thank Clemmons Village II Assisted Living for all their compassionate care.
