Hollis Sink, Jr.

Hollis Daniel Sink, Jr. died June 23, 2019 and is now living for eternity with his Lord and Savior. He retired from AT&T, was an avid golfer and loved to fish, but his priorities were his family and his devotion to God. He was born on March 16, 1930, and was preceded in death by his parents, Hollis and Joy Sink, and wives Betty Norman Sink in 1983 and Hilda Linville Stafford Sink in 2013. He is survived by his daughter Angie Sink Martin (Leon), his son, Barry Sink (Lydia), and his step-daughter Debbie Brooks (Danny), four grandchildren, David Yoran (Celia), Emily Watkins (Chris), Sam Sink, D.J. Brooks (Alison), and ten great-grandchildren. Hollis was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and laid a foundation of faith for his children and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek with Rev. Gary Byrum officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the many kind ladies who loved and cared for him at Vienna Village for the last three years, and the nurses at Trellis Supportive Care who assisted the staff at Vienna Village in caring for him this last month.
