Winston-SalemMr. Hoyle Dock Culler, 93, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013. He was born October 1, 1920 in Surry County to the late Dock William and Nannie Nixon Culler. Mr. Culler served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was part of the occupying force of Japan. He was also a Master Mason 3rd Degree of the Old Town Lodge 751. He retired from J.W. Burress Equipment Co. with 21 years of service. Preceding him in death was his wife, Nellie Inman Culler; two brothers, Buford E. Culler and Raymond Culler and a sister, Pauline C. Jackson. Surviving are two sons, Roger William Culler (Gail) of Carolina Beach, NC and Ronnie Hoyle Culler (Kathi) of Oak Island, NC; daughter, Nancy Louise Fulton of New Philadelphia, Ohio; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Forsyth Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
