Hubert Still, Jr.

Mr. Hubert Jerome Still, Jr., 69, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019.  He was born December 6, 1949 in Charleston County, SC to the late Hubert Jerome Still, Sr. and Ida Copeland Still.  Jerome retired from R.J. Reynolds as a mechanic with 32 years of service and was also a member of Oak Summit United Methodist Church.  Jerome was known as a loving and generous husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to all.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Still; grandson, Andrew Tilley; brother, Buddy Still; and nephew, Dale Hood.  Jerome is survived by his wife, Beth Still; two daughters, Christy Tilley (Tim) and Amanda Still (Matthew McMillian); sister, Mary Poindexter; two step-daughters, Kendra Skemp and Kerbie O’Connor; eight grandchildren: Morgan Tilley, Madison Tilley, Gabriella Tilley, Skylar Wicker, Reece Wicker, Jeremy Spainhour, Kaden Skemp and Irelynd Owens; sister-in-law, Ann Jenkins; four nieces and nephews: Connie Myers (Darren), Barry Livingston (Paula), Copeland Still, and Ginger Towe (Steven); and many special friends family, among those are, Cindy Nordine, Joe Berny, Ben Wicker, Heiniz Probst and Jeanette Probst.  The family would like to invite friends to celebrate his life at the family’s home, Saturday, April 20 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  (Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall)
