Mrs. Ida Pearl Anthony Bledsoe passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 at Universal Healthcare of King. She was born December 20, 1927 in Surry County to the late Ernest Gray Anthony and Dovie Collie Hall Anthony.


In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bledsoe was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey E. Bledsoe; one son, Johnny Wayne Bledsoe; and five siblings. Surviving are one son, Winnie Bledsoe; four grandchildren: Scotty Bledsoe (Melanie), Lonnie Bledsoe (Laura), Rodney Bledsoe, and Jonathan Bledsoe; two great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Jenkinstown with the Rev. Randall Smith officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
