Mrs. Imogene Littlejohn Beshears, 84, of Rural Hall, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017.
Imogene was born June 15, 1932 in Forsyth County to Fred and Flora Littlejohn. A lifelong North Carolinian, she worked at R.J. Reynolds and retired after 25 years of service. An excellent baker and cook, Imogene loved to spend time with her family and enjoyed going to the beach. She was a member of Advent Moravian Church and was a former member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Beshears and her sister, Linda Reeves.
Imogene is survived by her daughters, Jeannine Fry and fiancé Tony Canter and Janice Datz and husband Robert; granddaughters, Lauren Boyd and Elizabeth Fry; great-grandchildren, Benjamin Boyd and Samantha Boyd; brother, Thomas Littlejohn and wife Ruby; cousins, Shelva Yates and husband Junior, Jeannette Pilcher and husband Jerry; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 15, 2017 at 1 pm at Forsyth Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Tim Sapp officiating.
