Ione Margarita "Yvonne" Morales Benitez

Ms. Ione Margarita “Yvonne” Morales Benitez, 65, of McLeansville, NC, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at Forsyth Medical Center. Yvonne was born on October 28, 1960, in the Dominican Republic to Lino Felix Morales and Lesbia Benitez Bonilla.

Yvonne enjoyed traveling the world and lived for many years in Puerto Rico. This was her “second home” where she worked at the world famous Kasalta Bakery for more than 20 years. She was always beautifully put together, never one to leave the house without taking the time to look her best. Yvonne carried herself with grace and elegance.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Soraya Morales. In addition to her parents, she is survived by numerous sisters, brothers, nephews, nieces, and extended relatives.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00am on Monday, September 28, 2026, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Father Alexander Palacios officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Yvonne was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family is thankful she can rest in the arms of her Lord and Savior.

La Sra. Ione Margarita “Yvonne” Morales Benítez, de 65 años, residente de McLeansville, Carolina del Norte, falleció el jueves 24 de septiembre de 2026 en Forsyth Medical Center. Yvonne nació el 28 de octubre de 1960 en la República Dominicana, hija de Lino Félix Morales y Lesbia Benítez Bonilla.

A Yvonne le encantaba viajar por el mundo y vivió durante muchos años en Puerto Rico. Este lugar era su “segundo hogar”, donde trabajó durante más de 20 años en la mundialmente famosa panadería Kasalta. Siempre se presentaba impecablemente arreglada y nunca salía de casa sin tomarse el tiempo necesario para lucir lo mejor posible. Yvonne se distinguía por su gracia y elegancia.

Le precedió en la muerte su hermana, Soraya Morales. Además de sus padres, le sobreviven numerosas hermanas, hermanos, sobrinos, sobrinas y demás familiares.

Se celebrará una misa de funeral a las 10:00 a. m. del lunes 28 de septiembre de 2026, en Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel, con el Padre Alexander Palacios como celebrante. Después del servicio, la familia recibirá a amigos y seres queridos en la funeraria.

Yvonne fue una hija, hermana y tía amorosa. Será profundamente extrañada por todos los que la conocieron y amaron. Su familia agradece a Dios que ahora pueda descansar en los brazos de su Señor y Salvador.
