CARPENTER

Ira Stanley Carpenter, age 54, went to meet his Lord on November 10, 2014. He joins in Heaven his beloved parents, L.A. and Marian Wolfe Carpenter, and several loved aunts and uncles.
Stan is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Emilie and Chad Reimakoski of Winston-Salem, and granddaughters, Maddie, Autumn, and Briella; sister and brother-in-law, Pam Carpenter and Mike Demchok of Las Cruces, NM; brother and sister-in-law, Tim and Shawn Carpenter of Clemmons, NC; nieces and nephew, Andy and Cory Mack, and Jordan and Taylor Carpenter; partner, Sherry Duke of Boonville, NC; and many beloved Wolfe and Carpenter aunts, uncles and cousins.
Stan was a plumber by trade and a lifelong motorcycle enthusiast. He was a Biblical scholar, front-porch philosopher, AA sponsor, supporter of TV preachers and ministries, and self-taught guitarist and painter. He was kind, generous, and loving, and had a great sense of humor. His passing leaves a void in our lives, and we are all that much richer for having known him. We love you, Stan.
Stan's family and friends are invited to share in a celebration of his life on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 5:00-8:00pm at the home of his brother Tim, 4470 Gatlin Knoll Lane, Clemmons, NC. Burial and Wolfe family service will be on Wolfe Mountain in the Ira Wolfe Family Cemetery, Moorefield, WV, on Sunday, November 16th, at 1:00 pm.
