Irene Bowles

Irene Howell Bowles peacefully passed away on January 8, 2023 with her family by her side. Irene was born on November 14, 1937, to the late Frank Howell and Edna Sullivan Howell. This beautiful soul was 85 years old and lived a joyful life. If you had the pleasure to know her, then you knew the love and laughter that she always radiated. Her love for her family was beyond compare.

She was preceded in death by her husband Woody Bowles.

She is survived by her sister, Helen Bailey;  Daughters: Tracie Bowles and April Wilson.

“Nana” was especially thankful and proud of her grandchildren, Jonathan (Jay) Bowles, Corbin Wilson and Haley Shortt.

The family will hold a private ceremony.   In lieu of flowers, a donation can be sent to The National Kidney Foundation at 7413 Six Forks Rd #255, Raleigh, NC 27615. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family
