She was born on January 15, 1936, in North Carolina to the late Robert K. and Myrtle Wilson.

She was a gifted artist and had a flair for design and fashion, and had a love for antiquing. Above all, she was a child of God, a loving wife, and a mother beloved by her family.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Mayberry; and sister, Rebecca W. Spainhour.

She is survived by her daughter, Ange Hanmer of Harrisburg, PA; two grandsons, Luke Hanmer (Ashley) and Samuel Hanmer; three great grandchildren; and her faithful canine companion, Zoe.
